RED HOT BOSTON - So, it really is about time we shared this next project with you. Bo Barringer, Jen Grygiel, Jason Marchionna and Jim Collins are MEandJOANCOLLINS. The band are riding high atop an already hugely talented field of new Boston bands these days. MEandJOANCOLLINS play a brand of androgynous modern rock that will likely see them collecting listeners and lovers in far flung cities. (Yes, an RSL Prediction!)
The band makes some pretty awesome music: It's a New Wave kind of sound tinged with a bit of David Bowie - if Bowie were starting out fresh today in Boston. This band represents the city well - raised up on our indie rock and barroom roots -- while adding their own contemporary twang of individuality. In other words - they can rock as well as they entertain. Catch one of these two show if you are in the greater Boston-area.
