Michigan's Mason Proper comes to Boston this Thursday and we couldn't be more excited. We just told you about Mason Proper's Simply Amazing new record, Olly Oxen Free. This album is about to be named an RSL Best of The Year Pick (the list goes live later this week!) Things are really starting to happen for Mason Proper - the new video for Lock and Key just went live on MTV2 and people are finally beginning to understand Jonathan Visger's songwriting genius.

In all seriousness, MASON PROPER is one of the Best Bands in the World right now. Do Not Miss This Set.

Not to be outdone are Minneapolis' Cloud Cult who toured with The Forms earlier this year. The CC are an experimental indie rock band creating a full universe of sounds up on stage - transporting the listener to far away places. These stage phenoms have a great new record of their own in 2008; Feel Good Ghosts (Tea-partying Through Tornadoes) is in stores now.
